Gujarat Natural Resources Announces November 5, 2026 as Record Date for 1:10 Stock Split
Gujarat Natural Resources has set November 5, 2026, as the record date for its proposed 1:10 stock split. The company disclosed this in a regulatory filing on Tuesday, following shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday. Under the split, each fully paid-up equity share with a face value of ₹10 will be subdivided into 10 shares of Re 1 each.
The record date will determine which shareholders are eligible to receive the additional shares. The company confirmed that the split will result in shares ranking pari-passu in all respects with the existing equity shares.
Gujarat Natural Resources is primarily engaged in oil and gas exploration and trading. It operates through subsidiaries, including GNRL Oil Gas Limited (GOGL), which holds participating interests in six producing blocks in the Cambay Basin and operates five of them.
During FY26, the company, along with GOGL, continued drilling and development activities across its fields. This included a seven-well drilling campaign, with three wells successfully completed and brought into commercial production. The fourth well, K#17, in the Kanawara field, was drilled to test a new fault block and encountered a 24-meter hydrocarbon zone, confirming producible hydrocarbons.
The company stated it will continue focusing on exploration, operational efficiency, and prudent resource management while evaluating sustainable growth opportunities. The stock split aims to improve liquidity and accessibility for retail shareholders, who form a significant part of its investor base.
