Five stocks flagged for potential upside amid market volatility
Amid ongoing market volatility, Sumeet Bagadia of Choice Broking has identified five stocks showing improving technical signals for potential upside. The stocks include Kaynes Technology, Great Eastern Shipping Company (GESHIP), NTPC Green Energy, Eternal, and Aavas Financiers, each highlighted based on specific chart patterns and momentum indicators.
Kaynes Technology has broken above its 21-day EMA and the previous week’s high, signalling strengthening buying interest. The RSI has recovered from oversold levels to around 53, supporting the constructive setup. With a stop-loss at 3,475, the stock could target 4,000 if momentum sustains above the breakout zone.
GESHIP has convincingly breached its downward trend line with rising volumes, indicating increased participation. The RSI is holding above 60, reflecting improved momentum, and the stock is trading above the Point of Control from its prior range. A key risk level is 1,413, with upside potential toward 1,630 if strength continues.
NTPC Green Energy has broken out of a falling wedge formation, suggesting a bullish reversal. The stock has sustained above its 21-day EMA and the pattern boundary, reinforcing improving buying interest. The level at 87 is critical for risk management; holding above this could support a move toward 100.
Eternal has posted a notable breakout above recent resistance with strong volume, maintaining a higher-high and higher-low structure. The RSI remains above 60, reinforcing the bullish bias. With 318 as the key risk level, sustained trading above the breakout zone could open the path to a 370 target.
Aavas Financiers has moved above its downward trend line and cleared a sideways consolidation range, signalling a shift from range-bound to directional movement. Price is holding above both the 21-day and 9-day EMAs, adding confirmation to the improving trend. The risk level is set at 1,262, with potential upside toward 1,440 if momentum holds.
